Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper or canvas to ensure the fidelity of a limited edition print to an original artwork.

For giclée prints,

• Your image resolution has to be a minimum of 300 DPI.
• Giclée prints require archival quality substrate (Canvas or paper) with a 100% acid-free base.
• Giclée prints require pigment-based inks only.
